Is this the same as a free ATS scanner?
Yes. “Scanner” and “checker” here use the same deterministic pipeline: parse the document, score the rubric, and show passes and fails. Different pages only change the wording for search.
Can I test if my resume will pass ATS?
You can test for common ATS failure modes (columns that scramble text, missing sections, huge PDFs, bullets that are too long). You cannot test a proprietary employer parser.
What file types can I scan?
Upload PDF or DOCX up to 5 MB. PDF is usually the safest for ATS because layout is fixed. DOCX is accepted but can reflow in some parsers.
